EVENTS-
-Sw. Thurs – 22nd
-Kevin Mitchell gig has been cancelled due in part to lack of a sound guy –Luke has been using the Blues system, perhaps he and Aaron can spend an afternoon with Michael L. and Ian so they can confidently use the Blues gear
-Luke says we should continue to focus on fund-raising for our own system.
-burgers again- Ian: burgers, Alina: salad, Amber: apple crisp
-that’s about it for a while for events
-Karmetic Underground booked for June 26th
-Phil Slow/ Josh Spears are interested in the August long weekend for a party
-discussion about security and RCMP relations
-our liability and responsibilities

-Luke- has been in touch with a hip-hop group from Seattle ‘Common Market’

-Tim wants $478 –less a trade for his billboard
-Ron moves that HIAA pay Tim Biggins
-Amber reminds Ron that the board clearly stated that any spending above $250 requires Board discussion and approval; that these things need to be communicated clearly before Ron goes ahead
-generally we agree that the tables may be useful, but the decision to spend approx. $500 on them at this time isn’t (wasn’t) likely to receive Board approval
-Vote – 1 for: 5 against
WASH HOUSE
-things going well, everything working. Heat is off
-vanities are rotted out due to humidity
-dehumidifiers required but expensive
-re-grout both showers- Owein W.
-est. $200 labour plus materials- we have leftover tiles, grout etc.
-replace vanities - $130 each- Aaron asks if we can get them locally
-approve $300 for vanities
-approve $200 for tile work
-disinfectant and towels from janitor’s warehouse $100
-Ron moves we approve $600 spending to get Wash House ready for busy summer season, seconded by Aaron. Unanimous
